My name is Sophia
Sykes, an experienced professional in the hospitality industry with over 20 years as a chef. For the last 5 years
I have been a Private Chef; working at prestigious venues like Newmarket
Racecourse, Chelsea Football Club, Twickenham Stadium and many others.
Upon graduating
from Lakefield Hospitality College, I started my journey at Simpson’s in the Strand as a commis chef. Thereafter I progressed at other
London 5* hotels both in the kitchen and front of house. As time passed, I found myself more interested in the kitchen and thence chose to focus on becoming a chef, ultimately specialising in pastry.
Ipswich gluten free bakery
Since July 2020, I decided to open Delight Catering & Bakery. I already supply cafes and restaurants around Suffolk and also to individuals in Ipswich and surrounding areas. Baking is not just my profession but also my true passion, one that I want to share with everyone.
Due to my strong belief in providing delicious options to everyone, at Delight Catering & Bakery, we are proud to say we specialise in gluten free products and thence all our bakes and breads are suitable for people with coeliac disease and other medical conditions caused by gluten intolerance.
